FO - Market Squares Bag, or...

Image
This is the Market Squares Bag from Knitters Magazine, made with Lambs Pride Worsted. I knitted and felted it months ago but needed to sew on the handles so of course it sat on the FO pile forever! I'm trying to get a few more things underway so I can blog some WIPs as well as FOs. Stay tuned!

...Feed Bag?

Hey, where are all the oats and things??

FO - Baby Sweater!!!

Image
I finished this just in time for little Maggie's arrival! It's the Prince Albert Baby Sweater pattern from Sally Melville's Knit book, made with Patons DK Country Garden, a sproingey DK superwash wool.

Cute Doggie Buttons!

Image
These made me think of Gator, the yellow dog who is owned by little Maggie and her family.

As Modeled by Pooh

P.S. Hi Neuroknitter - the latest socks are being made with Socks That Rock yarn in their Seal Rock colorway. You can find this yarn at www.bluemoonfiberarts.com.

FO - GAA Square

Image
This is square #18 of a total of 25 squares in an afghan pattern called The Great American Afghan, published by Knitters magazine several years ago. Some of these squares are reeeeeeally complicated, so don't expect to see new ones too frequently!

FO - Alpaca Scarf

Image
I copied this pattern from a storebought scarf I found a couple of years ago. You can't really tell, but I sewed large beads to the corner of each end to give it a little more of an interesting drape.

FO - Feather and Fan Baby Blanket

Image
Here is the finished blanket I made with fuzzy yarn I received last year. The only problem is...

Sigh

Image
What to do with one leftover skein???

FO - But - Oh Say Can You See?

Image
Can you spot the teeney weeney little error that I didn't see literally until I finished the second sock?? Well, now at least I'll be able to tell left from right!!

FO - Socks!!

Image
I finished these in a sock frenzy this past weekend, during a long board meeting. They still need to be washed and blocked, but I thought they made a fine picture right off the needles.

And Still There Were More

Overwhelming Clydesdale Horsie

Image
OK, so I went a little crazy a couple of weeks ago. Clydesdale Horsie is starting to get a little nervous about becoming buried in yarn.

Pile-O-Yarn

Image
This seems to be a small fraction of the total number of skeins I'll get from the Big-Bag-O-Sheepy-Smelling-Fleece. But it's fun to look at the growing pile!

Taking a Small Break

Image
Did you think I could spin ALL that other stuff without sneaking in a few smaller projects? This is one of four small balls of shetland fleece (all different colors) that I got at the Wolf and Sheep festival a couple of years ago. Each is about 2-3 ounces, so they're the perfect inbetween project.

Some Progress
