April Thing A Month - Textured Weaving

Image
Dear Neuro, I have absolutely no idea how this is going to turn out, but for our April project I will be attempting inkle loom weaving.  For the first time.  On an inkle loom.  Without you. Eeek!! In the meantime, I've cast on a sock pattern with colorwork and will be reporting on my experience with the Magic Loop technique (vs. DPNs) in the weeks to come, as a continuation of our Feb/Mar experimentation with non-DPN sock construction. Other non-weaving projects include some replacement slippers for my mom, by special request.  I've been making these for years, and she keeps wearing them out - no small feat with acrylic rug yarn, 2 layers thick! I hope to be warping
