This is a hat I made for a friend who is experiencing some health issues. Although I didn't know it at the time, it also began the temporary lace hiatus.
These are squares that will make up an afghan that will be a belated wedding gift to friends. I still have many borders to put on these squares, as well as 4 more squares to knit. I'll be spending most of my knitting time on this project as well as finishing Baybee Wonderful. The lace may be set aside for now, but it will not be forgotten.
This is a sock I've had in progress for several months. It's made with a light, crunchy Wensleydale wool and is just lovely, but as you can imagine all those cables and things need lots of attention! I'm going to attempt to finish it off this month so it can go against my complete-one-sock-per-month goal for this year.
This is the main reason why I haven't made much lace progress lately, but it's in the home stretch now. I like how it's turning out, in spite of being made with acrylic yarn.
