Once Upon A Time There Were Two Little Girls

Hello on this salmon taco Friday!

I was trying to think of a good title for this post and for some reason a riff on the opening line of Charlie's Angels struck me as super funny.

This adventure happened almost exactly 18 years ago.  Neuro and had I decided we would take a short trip around New England to visit several of the prominent yarn stores and other venues there.  We both grew up in NE and had frequented some of these places before; others were on a wish list of sorts.  A relative left me a modest amount of money so we decided to stay in Bed and Breakfasts instead of cheap hotels (keep in mind this was way before Airbnb and internet was still fairly clunky).  And buy as much yarn as we wanted.  And even have a restaurant dinner or two!

We put together a plan (that was way more comprehensive than the plan we had when we hit the road for several days in Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico with semi-functional camping equipment and no cell phones!!!) and Oogymom found a copy of it while tidying up some old boxes.

I'd put it all together in a PowerPoint; here is the title page (slightly edited):

I'll post the next page tomorrow, and so on.  It's quite lengthy, so this, too, will be an adventure!

Stay cool, well, and safe :)
